Pakistan Studies Test 01

Hindus and Muslims were living together in the subcontinent, and there were no discriminations between them until the British arrived in the subcontinent. Their intention was to rule over the subcontinent, but when they saw that they could not control the subcontinent, they decided to divide it between the Muslims and Hindus. What did they do? They started giving importance to the Hindus over the Muslims. In this case, the Muslims demanded a separate homeland where they can practise and live life according to the Islamic laws. After the British came to the subcontinent, the Hindus started hating Muslims.
