All the questions asked in this test or the paper pattern are all designed by the HEC. The HAT test is taken from students to check their ability and whether they are capable of studying higher, like MPhil and PhD, or not. A student is eligible for the HAT test only when he or she completes the bachelor’s degree, shortly BS, at any university and wants to study higher. This test is specifically preferred by HEC for the students who have the capabilities to continue their studies. If you pass the HAT test, you will be allowed to take admission in the universities in Pakistan, and not just in Pakistan; you can also apply to universities abroad with the HAT result card only if you have passed it. To get admission to the best university in Pakistan or abroad, you need to bring high marks above the passing criteria of the HAT test set out by HEC, which is approximately 60%, in the test.
