Verbal Intelligence Test For Professionals
We are jointly working on a verbal intelligence test to make it perfect and easy to access for every single student who is aspiring to become an officer in Pakistani forces such as the Army, PAF, and Pakistan Navy. These recruitment centres, which judge the cadets, see a lot of capabilities in them. The verbal intelligence test is used to check the mental capacity of the student – that is, how much the student has the ability to make decisions quickly and rightly. If you have applied for the posts in the Pakistan Army, Navy or PAF (Pakistan Air Force), you must pass the initial to become selected for the ISSB for further recruitment processes, and then you will be selected for the academy where your training will start. We hope that you have got this.
This verbal intelligence test is designed to help you out for the initial test. If you complete our verbal intelligence test series, we guarantee 100% that you will not face any difficulty in the recruitment centre when you will be allowed to sit in front of the computer to adopt the test. Our verbal intelligence test is full of questions that are very necessary for the preparation, and these tests will make your preparation easy and good. Our verbal intelligence test contains questions:
- Series Questions
- Basic Mathematics
- Aptitude Questions
- Mental Check Questions
- Problem-Solving Questions
- Pattern Questions
- Relationship Matching Questions
- etc.
We added 20 questions in the first test of the verbal intelligence series. The passing criteria is kept at 60%. This is quite easy in contrast to other tests. A student with zero preparation can easily secure these numbers. If, anyhow, you are not capable of obtaining 60% marks in the test, the test after submission will help you learn all the MCQs completely with the right answers. You can learn all the questions asked to you during the test at once in the end with correct answers even if you do not learn during the test.
Question 01
3, 13, 20, 30, 37, 47
The answer is 54 because when you follow the sequence, you will get the correct result. For instance, if you move from 3 to 13, you add 10 to 3 to get 13. Then you add 7 to 13 to get 20. Again, you added 10 to 20 to get 30 and then 7. So, if we follow this order, it is a sequence of 10 and 7. In 37, we will have to add 10 to get 47. Now add 7 to 47 to get 54, and that is your answer.
Question 02
100, 110, 130, 140, 170, 180, 220, 230, 280
If you look at the sequence, you can get the result easily. For example, you added 10 to 100 to get 110 and then added 20 to the next number in the sequence to get 130. Then you added 10 to 130 to get 140, and then increasing the number by 10 that is added after that will help you to get the correct result. If you follow this pattern, I mean, add 10 to 220 to get 230, and then add 50 to the 230 to get 280, and now you have to add the 10 to 280 to get 290 if you want to continue the series; otherwise, this is your answer.
Question 03
9, 8, 10, 9, 11, 10, 12, 11
Look at the sequence: you minus 1 from 9 to get 8 and then add 2 to get 10. This is repeated as the sequence gives further minus 1 from 12 to get 11 and then adds 2 to get 13. That is your answer 2, and if you do not find the correct answer still, repeat the same pattern and you will come to the conclusion.
Question 04
Love : Live :: Dove : ?
This is an analogy question. You replace ‘o’ in both words. In the words ‘love’ and ‘dove’, you replace ‘o’ with ‘i’. Now ‘Love’ became ‘Live’ by the replacement of ‘o’ with ‘i’, and if you replace ‘o’ in ‘Dove’, it will become ‘Dive’.
Question 05
Start with Anna’s son. The aunt of Anna’s son could be Anna’s sister or the sister of the son’s father. Ali is the brother of that aunt. If the aunt is Anna’s sister, then the brother of Anna’s sister is simply Anna’s brother.
Question 06
Tree : Leaf :: Flower : ?
In this question, the relationship is shown. As you can see, a leaf is the part of a tree, so we need something that is a part of a flower. As you know, the common parts of a flower include petals, sepals, stamens, and pistils. In an analogy question like this, the most common word that comes up is “petal”. So “petal” is the correct answer.
Question 07
As you know, the heart is the organ that keeps the human body working and functioning. The same CPU is the central component of a computer that runs and controls operations in a system.
Heart : Human Body :: CPU : Computer
Both are the central organs of the respective bodies.
Question 08
Ludo is the correct answer because it is different from all the other games in the options. Ludo is the indoor board game that mostly depends on luck. So the physical efforts required while playing Ludo are basically none. While on the other side, hockey, cricket, & football are outdoor physical sports, and they involve running, teamwork, skill, training, and actual athletic effort. Ludo is a board game, not a sport.
Question 09
Let Meena’s age = x
Then Iram’s age = 2x (twice as old)
The sum of their ages is 5 times Meena’s age less than 48.
The sum of their ages = 48 – 5 (Meena’s age)
x + 2x = 48 – 5x
3x = 48 – 5x
3x + 5x = 48
8x = 48
x = 6
That gives Meena = 6 and Iram = 12, which is not among the options. Let me reread the problem as “the sum of their ages is 5 times Meena’s age, less than 48″ meaning:
Sum = 5 x Meena’s age, and we find Iram
Iram + Meena = 5 x Meena
2x + x = 5x
This doesn’t work either. The correct interpretation that matches the answer:
The sum of their ages equals 48 – Meena’s age… trying: Iram + Meena = 48 – Meena
2x + x = 48 — x
4x = 48
Meena = 12, Iram = 24
The marked answer appears incorrect. The correct answer is actually: Iram is 24, and Meena is 12.
Question 10
4, 7, 13, 22, 34, ?
In this question, the differences increase by 3 each time. It means +3, +6, +9, +12, +15… (multiples of 3)
If you add 15 to 34, you will get 49, and that is the correct answer too.
Question 11
43, 38, 33, 35, 30, 25, 27, 22, 17, ?
Look at the difference between these digits. The differences repeat in a group of 3.
-5, -5, +2, -5, -5, +2, -5, -5, +2...
If you add 2 to 17, you will get 19. So the next number is 19.
